de Vere Development was set up to provide an alternative to the typical building experience. We pride ourselves on offering the highest levels of customer service, professionalism and integrity, and our team is made up of hugely experienced individuals in everything from project management to the trades.
Our foreman has over 30 years in the industry and we have built up a network of tried and tested tradespeople who are not only excellent craftsmen, but are also punctual, polite, hardworking and trustworthy.
We also work closely with a number of related specialists, so we can give you access to respected interior designers, structural engineers, architects, surveyors and more should your project require it.
Dominic de Vere
Managing Director
Hankering to run his own business, Dominic set up a building company in 2001, after deciding there was a gap in the market for builders who could communicate with their clients on the same level, and provide genuine customer service. He is multi-skilled when it comes to resolving problems and bringing ideas to fruition. He is also a perfectionist whenever required to be 'on the tools', with everything delivered to the highest possible standard - and with a good dose of humour.
Prior to this, Dominic had an interesting and varied career path. He was winner of Sales Newcomer of the Year whilst working in publishing. He also spent time at ITN News, worked as a radio journalist, and being a self-confessed techy, provided IT support too.
Clare Brittle
Director and Client Services
Clare came to the business via a career in the graphic design industry. Working for several years as an account manager for a Covent Garden based agency, she was well practiced in project managing design jobs for clients such as London Stock Exchange, UBS, Lakeside and AXA. Recognising that these core skills were transferable and relishing the idea of a new challenge, she teamed up with Dominic in early 2009, to manage projects and look after our clients.
