My flat, one of several inside a landmark English Heritage Grade 1 building, required a very high standard of care with constant reference to the landlord as well as myself the leaseholder. de Vere's main focus was on the demands of the interior; painting, wallpapering and carpentry plus work on details like lighting etc.
One particular problem involved hanging a large lamp - 60kg from a 10m ceiling. Dominic produced a 3D drawing, which he presented to the Landlord's engineers convincing them that his plans were safe and viable. He then did the difficult thing, which was put it in place.
